Using the
largest PTFE facility in the Southern Hemisphere, Quadrant Chemplast supplies PTFE
customers world wide. We have distributors and agents networked across the
globe.
Unaffected by
almost all chemicals and solvents, PTFE parts also possess outstanding dielectric
properties, lowest coefficient of friction of all materials, non-stick
properties and has a wide temperature service range from -260ºC to +260ºC of
all plastics.
The addition of
various inorganic fillers produces parts which can be used in low friction,
high temperature applications with less deformation under load and better
wear-resistance than offered by unfilled PTFE resins. We have our own blending
facilities and are able to offer diverse grades and percentages to meet your
specific application needs.
Quadrant
Chemplast
processes PTFE in a wide range of forms and sizes to optimise the production
and cost of your component parts. We manufacture a full range of semi-finished
products (rods, tubes, sheets and billets) as well as finished products
(machined components) in both virgin PTFE and filled PTFE. Please see our

Quadrant
Chemplast
manufacture and distribute their PTFE products under the trade name of Keylon®.
Whereas our manufacturing process focuses on PTFE products, our experience and
network in the Plastics Industry has extended our available range of products
to Nylon, UHMWPE, Vesconite, Kel-F and other engineering plastics.

control and quality assurance of our present products and development of new
products for more demanding applications.
Product quality
is paramount to Quadrant Chemplast. We ensure constant quality through set processing
parameters obtained through PLC controlled presses and micro-processor
controlled sintering ovens and with regular quality control checks by a
professional QC team. Quadrant Chemplast, which is accredited with an ISO9001:2000
listing, only uses premium grade PTFE resins (namely DuPont® Teflon) for
demanding applications.
Quadrant
Chemplast has a
permanent Research Team, constantly working on new developments and on
upgrading of our present processing techniques. This team comprises technicians
with a wide range of experience both in the engineering and chemical fields.
Our research facilities and technical partners enable us to further new process
or products development. We continuously work together with our customers to
develop enhanced grades or products required for more demanding non-standard
applications. We have developed unique grades and processing techniques
resulting in speciality products required within the industry.
